Merrill's Roxy Cinemas has been a fixture in Downtown Burlington since 2003. From day one we have specialized in bringing an eclectic mix of films with a strong focus on smaller and thought provoking features.  We are locally owned by the Merrill Theatre group who has had a strong presence in Downtown Burlington for many years!

Merrill Theatres has embraced the innovations in comfort, picture and sound at first by installing comfortable luxury rocker chairs and digital sound in our auditoriums. In March of 2013 we will take the bigger plunge of converting our projection booth to total a digital presentation. We are no stranger to Digital Presentation as Majestic 10--our Flagship Stadium Seating Theatre in Williston, which was the first to bring Digital projection, Digital 3D and 7.1 Sound to Vermont!

Roxy Cinemas was voted Best Movie Theatre nine years straight by the Seven Daysies Annual Guide to Reader's Picks. This weekly Vermont newspaper is popular as an Alternative source for local news, views and culture.

We are surrounded by several Burlington colleges and it only made sense to offer students reduced prices on tickets. Our student discount runs seven days a week for both matinee and evening shows!  We have been partnering with the University of Vermont for it's CATS AT THE MOVIES which offers free Movie Tickets to it's students any time after 6:00pm. Our Director's Pack are great for those who enjoy frequenting the wonderful movies the Roxy offers. 

Each admission ticket has a savings of $4.00 off our normal evening admission. 

They also make great Gifts and Employee Incentives!  They never expire so don't worry!

Our auditoriums are available for rent most Monday thru Thursdays. Weekends are possible but much more limited in availability. 

All Types of Events Can Be Booked Including private screenings, industry events, promotional screenings, word of mouth, research, press screenings, benefits, film clubs, and private parties.

Our rental pricing is always reasonable and our service is filmmaker friendly. Ask us about non-profit discounts for your charitable events.
